The VGoT is Victory over cynicism!

There’s so much on my mind right now, like how do I fight cynicism? How can I talk about fighting for racial justice? How can I talk about climate change? Reducing waste, reducing lawn chemicals so we can continue to enjoy our outdoors. Which brings me to the need for more outdoor time—an antidote to modern digital work and life. Could gardening, working with our hands, cooking a meal, be alleviating to our anxieties about the future? Can taking steps to be more active with, more in-touch with the things we consume help us to feel more connected with the world around us? By bringing attention to the culture of doing, can we help alleviate cynical feelings? I believe, yes.
